Proposal picnic in Brisbane

The hardest part of a proposal is the logistics. The ring is sorted, the words are nearly there, and now you need a place that looks like you planned it for months. That is the part we do.

Book the late-afternoon slot. We set up a low table for two with cushions, candles, fresh flowers and glassware at the spot you choose — Kangaroo Point cliffs at golden hour, the riverbank at New Farm, the lawn behind Mt Coot-tha lookout. We leave before you walk up. A small sign points you to the right rug if the park is busy.

Most people add the letter board with ‘Marry me?’ and the fresh flower upgrade. If you want a photographer to be waiting at a distance, tell us in the notes and we will mark the spot so they find it.

The rain plan matters more for proposals than for anything else. If rain is forecast we call you the day before and move the date, or shift to a covered spot you nominate, at no cost.
